Freedom Care offer residential care facilities for those who suffer from a mental health disorder. Frequently our articles focus on conditions like Autism and Aspergers, but actually our specialist care homes cater for individuals suffering from other complex health needs such as ADHD or self harm.

In order to help our residents make informed lifestyle choices, we take a person centered care approach, creating individual plans that will focus on a person’s strengths and help build upon them. Integrating hobbies and interests into a care plan is just another way for us to ensure the resident’s feelings and beliefs are kept at the heart of their care.

By putting residents first and providing structure and stability we can help build on their strengths. We even like to get their involvement on how each home is run, ensuring everyone is included in meetings, their opinions are heard, and that each person is happy with their day-to-day experiences.

It’s not just care plans that make us stand out as providers of quality health care, but the homes themselves. All our homes have a ‘homely feel’ and only take a maximum of 3 residents which creates a more ‘normal’ family environment.
