Keely Wilson

I worked for two years as a SEN teaching assistant in a main stream secondary school, working with young people that have a variety of support needs, ranging from autism, dyslexia, mild to moderate learning disabilities and individual’s with challenging behaviour. I have also worked as a support worker with a children’s residential setting. this involved key-working some of the children there as well. I have all of the above to be extremely rewarding. This is my first role working within the adult social care sector and I am very excited about this new chapter of my life, especially working with Freedom Care as my employer. Since woking here, I have felt very supported by the management team and I have already started relevant training courses which will help develop my career even further as a support worker.
